It has been a busy 2016 for IO Industries, and we are in full swing for 2017 product enhancements and releases! Thank you for your continued interest in IO Industries, and we look forward to doing business with you in 2017!
(London, ON) January 1, 2017 - Below is a list of new products IO Industries released throughout 2016:
DVR Express Core 2 MAX - Now Shipping
The DVR Express Core 2 MAX model builds on the existing capabilities of the Core 2 series, allowing uncompressed recording from up to four Camera Link or CoaXPress cameras. With this model, full-speed CoaXPress cameras are now supported with rates up to 2240MB/s. Up to 22.5TB of removable solid state storage can be installed, and we have integrated rugged removable cartridges for the VidIO Drive Modules to mount into, each allowing over 25,000 insert/remove cycles. Also unique to the Core 2 MAX models are four real-time video monitoring outputs (3G/HD-SDI), one per camera input. These allow low-latency monitoring of the cameras, independent from the software-based display in CoreView. Lastly, the Core 2 MAX models have an IRIG time code input, SMPTE LTC input and the option to include a built in GNSS receiving supporting GPS, GLONASS and/or BeiDou navigation satellites.
Flare 48MP Camera- Shipping in 2017
The new Flare 48MP features a 35mm full frame global shutter CMV50000 sensor and can produce 7920 x 6004 images at over 30fps. Featuring the flexible CoaXPress interface, this camera can be connected using one, two or four coaxial cables depending on the application requirements. With these capabilities now available in a compact industrial camera, higher precision and throughput will be enabled for a variety of digital image applications.
4K MAX Slow Motion Replay System
The 4K MAX slow motion mini camera system is comprised of a 4K camera head which connects via 75 ohm coaxial cable to a high-speed solid-state recorder. Based on our previous DVR Express technology the DVR Express Core 2 MAX recorder is capable of playing slow motion imagery from 3G-SDI outputs at usual broadcast rates. The system is capable of recording 10-bit 4K/UHD up to 210fps, 2K/HD at 830fps and 720p at 1200fps.
2K and 4K VR systems
On display at many trade shows we featured the Helius Virtual Reality Systems designed by Inter Video and constructed with IO Industries' 2KSDI and 4KSDI cameras. Footage can now be recorded at 60p with the Convergent Design's Apollo and Odyssey 7Q+ recorders, then processed into spherical virtual reality experiences.
