CLSAS

Up to Four Camera Link Cameras Direct to Serial Attached SCSI

IO Industries DVR Express® CLSAS video recorder card excels at recording multiple cameras direct to hard disk or SSD. A single card can record up to four cameras. As with all IO Industries recording hardware, frames are recorded uncompressed with no frame drops.

The CLSAS allows direct connection of two camera link or LVDS cameras to its external video ports. Two internal video ports on the CLSAS are accessible by an optional mating daughter card module. Daughter card modules for two camera link or LVDS cameras, along with modules for NTSC/PAL and GigE cameras are available.

Multiple CLSAS cards may be installed to record even more cameras. Since the CLSAS operates as a recording subsystem, handling all aspects of the recording procedure, PC performance is not affected even when recording large numbers of cameras.

The CLSAS’s DVR engine is powered by dual 3Gb SAS disk controllers delivering a maximum sustained uncompressed recording data rate of 540 MByte per second, direct to disk.

Advanced features include precision time-stamping of video frames in hardware, hardware trigger inputs/outputs with FPGA-controlled timing manipulation, and onboard video buffering for optimal live video viewing.
